Ryann is a senior Political Science major with a minor in Spanish and certificates in Environmental Studies, Writing, and Law, Justice, and Culture. She is the Vice President of OU’s ACLU chapter alongside her participation in many other student organizations on campus. This year, she will be completing an honors thesis for the political science department regarding national security in Somalia. Post-grad, she plans to enter the field of international relations research.
Natalie is a third-year HTC Political Science major with a minor in Spanish and History and certificates in Latin American Studies and Law, Justice, and Culture. She is the Vice President of Ohio University’s pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, and the Secretary for the Political Science Majors Association, while holding membership in many other organizations on campus. Natalie is also one of a select group of Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholars. She plans to work in policy analysis and advocacy in the future.
Zach is from Delaware, Ohio, and he is a history major with a business minor in the Honors Tutorial College. He is currently President of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and News Editor for The New Political. Following graduation he plans to attend law school. His fellowship comes through the generous support of the Muck Family to the Ohio University College of Business.

Yashvita Kanuganti is a third-year Ping Cutler Scholar majoring in Linguistics and HTC Religious Studies, with interests in cross-disciplinary connections between these fields. Some of these ongoing academic interests include linguistic anthropology and historiography. Currently, she is Co-President of Ohio University’s South Asian Student Association and is also an archival assistant for the Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections. After graduating, she plans on pursuing higher education to continue exploring her passions in the overarching humanities, as well as archival work. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and writing.
Annika is a Margaret Boyd Scholar and part of the Honor Tutorial College. She is a History major with a Certificate in Law, Justice, and Culture. She plans to attend law school following the completion of her undergraduate degree.
Aayush is a junior international student majoring in Data Analytics and Finance and pursuing minors in Aviation Management along with certificates in cybersecurity and supply chain management. He is an active member of OU’s Information Systems and Analytics Professionals(ISAP) , Financial Management Association (FMA), and German Club. Outside of class, Aayush likes hiking and discovering new places. He has visited 5 continents and loves to discuss the diverse cultures he has experienced. Post graduation, he plans to find a full-time job in the US and start a masters degree. She studies political science pre-law, and social work with a certificate in law, justice, and culture. She is the director of students defending students, a board member of the center for student legal services and is involved with the Athens County CASA/GAL program.
Ben is a molecular biology and applied math double major, with a minor in chemistry. His passion lies in researching disease pathogenesis, and he currently fulfills this by studying type 2 diabetes development at the level of the beta cell. After graduating in spring 2025, he plans to attend graduate school and earn his PhD. He’s also vice president of Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society and in his free time, enjoys reading, running, and cooking.
Adelle is a fourth-year History major with a minor in Computer Science and certificates in Geographic Information Science and Italian Studies. They are the President of Phi Alpha Theta and the Vice President of University Program Council. They are also a member of Phi Beta Kappa, CIAO Club, and countless other organizations on campus. Christian is a rising senior from Logan, OH who is dual majoring in economics and mathematical statistics. He is a Voinovich Undergraduate Research Scholar, a Hall Scholar, and involved in the Economic Student Association at OU. Jack Wynn is a 4th Year Student at Ohio University from Cleveland, Ohio. He spent two years in the Connavino Honors Program at the Patton College of Education before moving over to the History Department this past summer. He is an avid outdoorsman, musician, reader, and writer. After completing his undergraduate degree next year he hopes to hike every mountain over four thousand feet high in the Eastern United States, and to pursue graduate studies in the field of Russian and Eastern European History, his current focus.

Ben is a double major in molecular/cellular biology and applied mathematics, with a minor in chemistry. He plans to pursue my PhD after graduating in Spring 2025 before entering the field of research. Currently, he is analyzing the pulsatility of trace hormones. Additionally, he is the secretary of Ohio University’s hiking club, a peer tutor, and a member of the Tri Beta Biological Honor Society.
